Whenever a new transaction step is being created, it is important to keep in mind that there are some required fields to be mapped when creating a new step. This is especially true when syncing transactions.

Anytime a transaction is being synced, it is a requirement that there are line items. For example, if syncing a Salesforce Opportunity to a QuickBooks invoice, QuickBooks requires that there is at least one line item mapped.

What does this mean?

This means that Autofy does not support syncing header fields to line items. Autofy supports syncing line items to line items.

How do I know what to sync?

A good way to think about how to line items is to manually enter a new transaction in QB and manually enter a new transaction in SF. What fields are required for both objects? You'll want to make sure those are mapped.

To give you a head start, we are including recommended line item mapping based on the most popular transaction syncs. Keep in mind that when creating a new step, Autofy typically provides default mapping for standard objects. Below are recommended mapping setups for different transaction syncs.

Important Note: If your Salesforce object does not have a related list for products, you will need to create one. Autofy does not support syncing header fields to line items.
